DONATION REQUEST FORM
The Local Oyster donates oysters, shucking lessons, gift cards & swag to charitable events as our way of giving back some of the love that our community shows us every day.
To do this, we review all donation requests. If you would like a donation for your charitable event, please read our guidelines below, then fill out and submit the donation request form. Donation requests must be placed at least 30 days prior to the date of your event. We will notify all applications regardless of whether or not we’re able to donate.
If you’ve got a good reason why we should donate to your event or good cause, let us know! Keep in mind, that we usually try to sell our oysters & swag - it is how we plan to stay in business!
ORGANIZATIONS WE WILL DONATE TO:
• Arts & Culture
WE WILL NOT DONATE TO:
• Organizations without 501(c)(3) status
• Individuals and private fundraisers
• Political organizations/campaigns
• Religious activities
• Athletes/recreational teams
If your event is less than 30 days away, it will automatically be declined.
All donation requests must be submitted online. We do not accept requests via emails, phone calls, or drop ins.
We do not provide staff to work at events or deliver donations. If this is required, a fee can be added to the "donated" items in order to cover the costs of our staff.
